A RIB?
Rigid Inflatable Boats are craft constructed with a conventional planing
hull manufactured out of fibreglass with an inflatable collar for
increased buoyancy and stability. The collar (or tube), which acts
like a shock absorber, ensures the craft has an unparallelled degree
of seaworthiness and safety. These unique high performance craft represent
the very latest in boating Technology and this sector has been recognised
as the most rapidly growing within the marine industry. RIB's are
used all around the world for commercial,
safety, rescue,
diving and leisure

Due
to economic restrictions worldwide a RIB is an affordable way for most
families to get onto the water and compete with the neighbour next
door. However the RIB has the following very important features which
no other craft has:
Depending on the design of the hull (ours are designed tested
and built to withstand the most treacherous and hazardous sea
conditions world wide) ...... with one properly designed and built
boat to Mako specifications and quality you can enjoy offshore,
diving, fishing, sightseeing etc., as well as inland ski-ing, leisure,
fishing and other pursuits.

LIGHT
Because of the tube construction of our inflatable boats the craft
gives you everything a conventional boat of it's size does .......
and more. They are up to 3 times lighter, making launching - or pulling
onto the beach - much easier. Also less difficult to push forward.
EXCEPTIONAL LOADING CAPACITY
Without a doubt a Mako Full Inflatable surpasses any conventional
boat in the "loading capacity" area due to its 10X higher
buoyancy.
STABILITY
Our craft are super stable due to their large buoyancy tubes which
give them a low centre of gravity ........ so much so that under
normal circumstances they are practically impossible to capsize. This
quality, which is essential to safe and confident navigating is
especially appreciated by divers and fishermen.
PRACTICAL
A 4.0m Full Inflatable (13.1ft) folds up (excluding motor) to 1000
x 850 x 850 mm ........ this phenomenon enables anybody to easily
store the boat when not in use, transport the boat in the trunk of
a normal car or take it into areas inaccessible for other boats.
ECONOMICAL
Running a Mako Full Inflatable requires smaller outboards than
conventional boats to provide better performance ..... thus saving you
money. With Mako Full Inflatable you can achieve more than if you had
3 conventional boats of different designs due to their multipurpose
nature.
