The Mako 8.0m RIB conforms to the Essential Safety Requirements of
the European Recreation craft directive No. 94/25/EC and are 
marked in compliance with legislative guidelines.
The Mako 8.0m RIB is
built by Mako Inflatables ..... it is a true go-anywhere, anytime
(no matter what circumstances or sea conditions) which will meet the
needs of even the most demanding user.
She is able to reach and hold high speeds in comfort due to her latest
surface effect hull design which gives her a combination of unparalleled
performance, weight carrying capacity and economy.
The Mako
8.0m RIB was specifically designed and developed as a high performance
RIB hull favouring a high load carrying capacity in excess of 1.500
kg with the ability of running continuously at speeds of 100 kph in
one metre seas.
This product offers hulls suited for water-skiing , high load
capabilities welcomed by divers .... and large decks and lockers ideal
for day trips or fishing. The hull design and deck configuration
compliments each range of uses, giving each one it's own unique and
distinct character.
Depending on how we set up the deck this product is the most versatile
of our range fulfilling the functions of dive, commercial, military,
rescue & leisure.
Advantages of the surface effect Hull design:
- High load carrying capacity
- Handling and turning
at high speed is unsurpassed and with the fine entry speeds of over
75kph can be comfortably maintained in one metre seas.
- The design of the hull
provides a very dry boat in that the spray from the concave chines
is thrown out at low angle, thus keeping the crew dry in almost any
conditions.
